Some versions of open look tremendously exciting, while they seem unsustainable at the present, other open models seems like a pandora’s box if unregulated… or is it?

What kinds of open are you aware of and support zealously? Is everything open always good?

It is not travelling until you meet the locals, stay in hostels and pair up for hikes, engage in working and pig out on the regional delicacies! Just like my previous travels, this was too a life defining moment for me! As I continue on my journey, there are 3 lessons I would like to share…

Fill my mind with foods for thought… keep reading, keep meeting people and keep doodling ideas!

Keep my feet grounded … be humble, listen more and be non-judgmental towards people

Wear my shoes and keep playing… jump into new experiences, stretch to explore bolder projects, and find crazy partners who are willing to do this with me!

TED has some excellent food for thought…

  1. If a friend were to describe your accomplishments in up to three sentences, what would he or she say?
  2. What other achievements would you like to share?
  3. What are you passionate about? (work, creative output, issues, communities…)
  4. What do we need to know about you that we didn’t ask? (Up to 300 words)
  5. (Optional) Can you share a memorable anecdote from your life that will give us a further sense of what makes you tick?

And the other one I noticed, is the questionnaire from Sandbox…

  1. What is the next big thing you want to achieve?
  2. List places and organisations you worked and studied at that shaped you as the person that you are today. Why?
  3. Initiatives that you started or led, off the normal/regular track
  4. About what topics should someone ask YOU?
  5. Add five (or more) tags that describe you and your interests and passions (please separate with commas)
  6. When you leave this world, what do you want to be remembered for?
  7. When was the last time you did something for the first time? What was it?

Something is clicking in you already? I think it is for me ;)

For the past year, I have been heavily exposed to so many groups that were open and welcoming in many projects and ideas. I have been inspired to know that many of these are being headed by younger people who have dared to go beyond the safety net of a secured life. Words like entrepreneurship, innovation and change are not just words, but I have actually met people who did them!

As for me, I’m in the most crazy part of my life, and I know it’ll only get crazier ;) Who knew of all place, I would be in Ljubljana meeting young people and learning from their talents and skills! In the coming months, I hope to travel around and experience more!

Before I come back sooner… I wish to give my heartfelt thanks to these bunch of people. Thank you for inspiring me!

Whether they are twitter peeps or the tech 65 gang or the creative crew bunch or Challenge:Future and many many more… Living at this age with Social media, Skype, iPhone, live streaming and constant 24 hours connectivity, no matter where you are, it’s always so near!

I love how it all all integrate smoothly and yet i can have the choice of both! We should not be restricted to using just one operating system.

But of course, now i have to do a bit of fire-fighting with both the Mac and PC camp people. And I won’t stop here actually. I can’t wait to get my hands on Ubuntu soon :D
