I had always been intrigued by the astronomy and the study of universe. But it was only a few months back that i went for a few telescope viewing sessions and one weekend i managed to sneak out my way to Pulau Semakau for a star gazing night! For the first time in my life i caught the constellations and planets through the telescope… and i caught our very own moon.
I always knew what immense emptiness it gave me just to even think about how tiny we are, engulfed in this space. But having spent an entire night under the sky, amidst the darkness, the quietness, i was convinced that i found the answer to all the world’s problems. Whoaaa… so simple!!
I couldn’t really express how or why… but flipping through the pages written by Ekhart Tolle, I have found that exact thought…
When you look up at the clear sky at night, you may easily realize a truth at once utterly simple and extraordinarily profound. What is that you see? The moon, planets, starts, the luminous band of the Milky Way, perhaps a comet or even the neighboring Andromeda Galaxy two million light years away. Yes, but if you simplify even more, what do you see? Objects floating in space. So what does the universe consist of? Objects and space.
If you don’t become speechless when looking out into space on a clear night, you are not really looking, not aware of the totality of what is there. You are probably only looking at at the objects and perhaps seeking to name them. … … The answer is both simple and profound. When you are aware of space, you are not really aware of anything, except awareness itself – the inner space of consciousness. Through you, the universe is becoming aware of itself!
So, here it goes! I sheepishly childishly present that one simple solution to all the world’s problems:
Look at the Sky!

Has it been so long since i last penned down my thought right here?
Oh my gosh!!! it’s already into the year 2009. And did I ever have any better way of welcoming a New Year?? Nope, absolutely never! Right under the stars, amidst the complete dark i said good bye to 2008!

2008 – my best year of my life as of yet. It’s been an incredible journey for me and i have never been happier!! I spent one quater of the year in Europe, travelling so much across 5 countries and I also brought my dear parents there. Work has been great and I also managed to sit for an exam. Yes, i am waaaay happier with my adult work life than my student life. But most importantly in 2008, i finally found something that i was searching for my entire life
And i cannot simply look forward to more in the coming year 2009.
Life’s been changing too fast and i simply cannot afford to not pen down my thoughts right here. So i have only one resolution for this year: Blog Sweska! Blog!

when i woke up this morning i felt this suddenly…
That out of all my years in life i’m going through my best time as yet. And it is even greater that i’m realising it as i’m going through it right now because often we only realise our best times spent when it is already over or we keep waiting for years hoping for that best time to come.

I woke up yesterday morning in a little room, tucked away in a small French town – Tours. And when I opened my window, it was a new view all together.

After merely 3 weeks of travelling to 3 different places, waking up in a new charming place has become a norm and well, this change is simply normal now. You get used to opening your mind to seeing different things, people and food and along with discovering new places, you start to discover more about your inner thinking… there’s only me and me all the time.
On a funny note, i discovered i’m a total confusion. Just now, Jazz pointed really correctly… i could not simply find my way to tutorial rooms or from LT6 to E2 computer lab in the university, but I can make my way all alone from Nord-Pas de Calais to the roads along the Loire River…. uh well… getting lost and found! That’s another post… a little time later.
i’m still basking in the memories of the Loire Valley – the small cobbled stoned alley, those bricked houses and little Flower markets or that Chateau built on that high cliff…. *beems*
